About ZRTI MFP

The Zonal Railway Training Institute, Muzaffarpur, was founded in 10-02-1947 at Gorakhpur and shifted at Muzaffarpur on 29-09-1958.
The total area of the training center is 4.095 Acres 3113 Sq.mtr. The Institute is imparting training to Group ‘C’ Staff of Transportation, Commercial, Personnel, Accounts, Store, Civil Engineering and Transportation portion of all the streams of JE/SSE of Electrical, Mechanical etc.
The courses of training are Induction, Promotion and Refresher. The Institute is conducting Safety Camps for Loco Pilots, Guards and Station Masters Category after the successful completion of their Refresher course.
In addition to Induction, Promotion, Refresher and safety Camps, the institute is also conducting Fire Fighting, Disaster management and First Aid courses.
